Online Couples Therapy in California

Supporting Couples Across California

Looking for online couples therapy? I provide virtual couples counseling for adults across California. Online sessions allow you to access consistent support anywhere in the California.

Online therapy offers a flexible and private way to work on your relationship without adding more to your schedule. This is a private-pay practice, allowing for greater flexibility and a more personalized approach to care. While I’m based in Newbury Park, I provide online couples therapy throughout California.

For couples located nearby, in-person sessions are also available in my Newbury Park office. I work with couples in:

  • Westlake Village

  • Thousand Oaks

  • Agoura Hills

  • Newbury Park

  • The greater Conejo Valley

My Approach

My approach to therapy is both insightful and practical. We focus on understanding the patterns in your relationship and what keeps them repeating. With greater awareness, couples are guided to shift these patterns in ways that feel realistic and supportive in daily life. You can also learn more about the approaches I use in couples therapy.

Together, we look at:

  • How you communicate under stress

  • Where misunderstandings tend to happen

  • How emotional reactions shape your connection

To support progress between sessions, I provide a digital notebook with highlights from your sessions along with at-home exercises to support your work in therapy.

Working Together

I work with couples who are thoughtful and ready to look at their relationship more directly.

This is a private-pay practice, which allows for:

  • More flexibility in the work

  • A personalized approach

  • Focus without insurance restrictions

The goal is not surface-level conversation, but meaningful and structured change.

When Couples Therapy Can Help

You don’t have to be in crisis to begin. Many couples reach out when things feel stuck, tense or you just simply are not getting your needs met.

Couples therapy may help if you’re experiencing:

  • Ongoing miscommunication or feeling misunderstood

  • Conflict that escalates quickly or goes unresolved

  • Emotional distance or loss of connection

  • Rebuilding trust after betrayal or hurt

  • Life transitions impacting your relationship

  • Difficulty expressing needs, feelings, or boundaries

How Online Couples Therapy Works

Sessions are held virtually, allowing you to meet from anywhere in California—your home, office, or another private space of your choice. Sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I provide the portal link; you’ll just need a reliable internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Online therapy may be a good fit if you:

  • Have busy or conflicting schedules

  • Prefer privacy and convenience

  • Want consistent support without travel

Many couples find that being in a familiar environment helps them feel more at ease and engaged in the process. And yes—pets are welcome in your session.

What to Expect in First Session

The first session is about understanding your relationship and what brings you in.

We will:

  • Talk through current concerns and history

  • Clarify what each of you wants to change

  • Identify early patterns and goals

From there, we establish a clear direction for our work together.
